Kapra: Official neglect has cost lives of innocent cattle. The Rampally tank which is full of hyacinth claimed lives of three buffaloes. A total of 23 buffaloes entered the tank in Keesara mandal in Medchal, as a hot sun was beating down on Saturday. They belong to a farmer Ankababu who reported that three of the buffaloes died and 10 went missing.

Keesara MRO Nagaraju visited the spot and oversaw the work by revenue officials and labour. The buffaloes that were rescued were given vaccines by doctors. As the density of hyacinth is thick, officials are facing many hurdles in rescuing the buffaloes.
