Bakrid symbolises spirit of sacrifice, says Naini Narsimha Reddy
Former Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy said that the festival Bakrid signifies the spirit of sacrifice. He was speaking at a dinner hosted by TRS senior minority leader Javid Khan at his residence on the occasion of Bakrid festival on Monday. Musheerabad MLA Muta Gopal and other TRS leaders who attended the dinner extended festival greetings to Muslims.

Speaking on the occasion, Naini Narsimha Reddy urged people to maintain communal harmony in the state for its progress. He appealed to people of all the communities to celebrate their festival with a feeling comradery and religious amity.
Explaining various initiatives taken by the state government for the minority welfare, former home minister said that the state government led by the CM KCR has always given priority to the Muslims. He remembered various minority welfare schemes such as Shadi Mubarak, gifts to poor Muslims during Ramzan and other schemes carried out by the state government.
Among those who present on the occasion include Ramnagar division corporator V Srinivas Reddy, TRS youth leader Muta Jaisimha, TRS leaders M Prabhakar, R Moses, Neta Sreenu, Erram Shekhar and others.
