LB Nagar: BJP leader Sama Rangareddy along with other leaders submitted a memorandum to Deputy Commissioner of GHMC circle 3, requesting to address the issue of drainage at Shirdi Sai Colony in Hastinapuram division, here on Tuesday.

The memo said the issue has been plaguing the locals for the past 10 years. "Though the issue was taken to the notice of the GHMC officials several times, nothing has been done so far. Sewerage water is overflowing on roads and mosquito population is multiplying.

There is a danger of viral fevers and dengue inflicting the residents," they said. They requested the officials to resolve the issue permanently. Party convener of the constitution V Madhusudan Reddy, J Prabhakar Reddy, V Srinivasa Reddy, Shantimitra, Somireddy, Madhava Reddy, Amarender Reddy, Prem, Shiva and others were present.
