Bonalu fete in Delhi concludes amid devotional fervour
Bonalu, which was organised for the fifth straight year in the national capital by the Lal Darwaza Simhavahini Sri Mahankali Temple committee, concluded after three days of celebrations with devotional fervour.

Speaking to The Hans India, the committee members who returned to the city informed that the programmes concluded with much devotional fervour amidst the presence of the Ministers, MPs and other prominent leaders from Telangana. Union Minister of State (Home) G Kishan Reddy and leaders actively participated in the 3-day programme, which started from July 2 and concluded on July 4.
On the last day, Kishan Reddy was given a grand welcome by the Lal Darwaza temple committee. Amongst other VIPs who took active part in the programme are MPs Bandi Sanjay Kumar, A Revanth Reddy, K Gorantla Madhav (AP), Special Representative of the Telangana government in Delhi Ramachandru Tejavath, Resident Commissioner at Telangana Bhavan Vedantam Giri and others.
Chairman Tirupathi Narsinga Rao, vice president K Venkatesh, General Secretary B Maruthi Yadav, Treasurer G Arvind Kumar Goud welcomed Kishan Reddy with a shawl and a memento for his presence.
Speaking on the occasion, Kishan Reddy lauded the efforts of the temple committee, who along with the support from the state government, were continuously conducting the Bonalu festivities in the national capital without any break. He assured that from the next year the programme would also get the support of the Union Ministry of Culture.
The programme was marked by the stunts of the Poturaju, Sudhakar, Bonam and Rakesh were mesmerising. Meanwhile, the cultural programmes organised by the Department of Culture (TS) also enthralled the Delhiites. Later in the evening following different programmes in Ambedkar auditorium at Telangana Bhavan, those who supported the festivities were also felicitated. In the concluding programme, Malkajgiri MP A Revanth Reddy took part as the chief guest.
