Car rams pushcart
A Maruti Alto coming from Amberpet hit a pushcart selling mangoes at Ramanthapur TV studio on Sunday.
Ramanthapur: A Maruti Alto coming from Amberpet hit a pushcart selling mangoes at Ramanthapur TV studio on Sunday. Nupuru Krishna, 11, got injured in the incident and was admitted in Matrix Hospital in Ramanthapur. Between Amberpet and Uppal, seasonal fruits are sold at roadsides near TV studio which sometimes creates traffic problems to commuters. Police took the car owner into custody.
Pushcart owner Mallikarjun said, "An Alto car bearing number AP29 BC 5408 coming from Amberpet hit the pushcart which created a huge damage and a loss of mangoes worth Rs 20,000. A child who was buying fruits was hit by the car and injured." He further added that it was the only way to support his family and urged justice to him. Car owner Seshagiri Rao said, "It was not intentionally done. As there was a bus coming beside me, having no option I happened to hit it."
