Collector MV Reddy orders better amenities at schools
MV Reddy reviews ‘Mana Nagaram’ programme on cleanliness
Medchal: Collector MV Reddy on Monday directed the district officials and municipal commissioners to paint 13 municipal schools, anganwadi and health centers and to provide basic facilities at the centers with the help of municipal funds.
At a review meeting on 'Mana Nagaram' programme, he directed the officials to put up notice boards to ensure that garbage was not dumped on the municipal outskirts. He underlined the importance of keeping education, welfare, health and women welfare departments in the municipal limits clean and green.
The Collector expressed anger over lack of tree guards for the avenue plantation taken up on roads in Nizampet, Bachupalli and Dundigal. Referring to rain-affected roads, Reddy asked the municipal commissioners to take up immediate repairs.
He asked officials to provide parking at liquor shops and to put up boards against open urination and defecation, with a provision for imposing fines against those violating the rules.
