Speaking to The Hans India here on Tuesday, Adithya S, a resident of the area, said, "This road near the Santoshi Maa temple in Old Safilguda has been in this condition from past nine months. This is causing a lot of inconvenience to us, the locals of this area."
He said that several times, their vehicles got damaged because of these roads. We had been informing the officials about the issue before the general elections. They told us to wait till the elections were over. When they approached the officials later, they said there were no funds for it." "The condition of the road would get worse with the onset of monsoon season," added Adithya.
