Local Corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud on Tuesday made a surprise inspection of the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Yellammabanda, the fourth so far since assuming the office.
Allwyn Colony: Local Corporator Dodla Venkatesh Goud on Tuesday made a surprise inspection of the Primary Health Centre (PHC) at Yellammabanda, the fourth so far since assuming the office.
Goud alleged that whenever he had conducted such inspections, the doctor was found absent, while expressing anger. He said action would be initiated against the absentees after discussing the issue with higher-ups.
The corporator directed the PHC's sanitation staff to clear weeds and grass on the premises. He announced that a latrine would be constructed in the centre, besides providing other facilities, for the benefit of patients.
