LB Nagar: Rachakonda CP Mahesh Bhagavath conducted a meeting at Command Control Room in Ghatkesar mandal PS in Medchal district on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, Mahesh Bhagavath said, "There are nearly 12,000 Ganesh pandals in Rachakonda zone and nearly 6,000 immersions have taken place.
Lakes available for immersions in Rachakonda division are Saroornagar, Kapra, Safilguda, Edulabad, Rampally and Mantrala lakes." He further added, "70 cranes were arranged in Rachakonda division. There are nearly 9,000 cameras and in addition to them, 310 special cameras were arranged.
5,500 policemen were working for it and professional swimmers were arranged at every lake." "Due to immersions, liquor shops in the division are closed.
