Dana urges people to join clean-up drive
Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner M Dana Kishore called upon the locals to join as the volunteers to clean up their colonies and wards.
Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner M Dana Kishore called upon the locals to join as the volunteers to clean up their colonies and wards. As part of the cleanliness programme with the slogan of 'Saaf Hyderabad – Shaan Hyderabad' on Tuesday Commissioner inspected Feroz Gandhi Nagar of Vijayanagar division.
Speaking to the locals, the Commissioner said that the cleansing of the city would not be done alone with GHMC staff. He said that everyone us should render their help to clean city. He said with the participation of people, volunteers, NGO's, youth and women can achieve the target to make the city clean and great.
Commissioner appealed to the people to give a hand to spruce up the city and help the GHMC staff in collecting the wet and dry garbage, providing clean streets, maintenance of public toilets, road repairs, sweeping programmes, building construction waste removal in their colonies or wards.
He directed the officials to construct drainage lids parallel to roads in Feroz Gandhinagar and Taj Nagar. Khairtabad Zonal Commissioner Musharaf Ali, Deputy Commissioners Ali, Sudansh, Medical officers Aziz Khan, Ravikanth and others were present.
