Hyderabad: The Osmania University's Global Alumni Meet (GAM) -2023 was kicked off amid the presence of eminent alumni in the City from all across the world, on Tuesday.
Delivering his inaugural address, OU Vice-Chancellor Prof D Ravinder outlined the recent initiatives to strengthen the academics, administration and finances of the university.
The first panel discussion was on 'Tapping Alumni Power for Institution Building' and the discussants were Backward Classes Welfare Commissioner Burra Venkatesham, Indian Foreign Service OSD MeA (United States) C Rajasekhar, Hyderabad Commissioner of Police, C V Anand, film director Shekar Kammula and Feuji Software managing director Manohar Reddy.
Meanwhile, another panel held discussions on 'Global Connect - Initiatives from Osmania University' with discussants including Veena Gundavelli, Dr Paidi Yella Reddy, Dr S.Venkata Raju, Janetha Kancherla, Mohd Majid Hashmi Syed, Venepalli Bhaskar Rao and Konda Sanjay Reddy.
