Housewife jumps off building with kid

Kukatpally: A housewife, Padmaja (33) of Balajinagar, under Kukatpally police station limits, allegedly attempted suicide bid, along with her two-year-old daughter, from atop a building following a row with her husband over financial issues in way of celebrating the child's birthday on Sunday.

While Padmaja died on the spot, the girl was hospitalised with serious injuries, the police said. According to Sub-inspector Ramulu, a case has been registered and investigation taken up. The couple had been staying in the building for some time.
