Hyderabad: State BJP leaders on Tuesday stepped up their ante against the ruling TRS and AIMIM ahead of the GHMC elections on December 1. Union Minister of State for Home Affairs G Kishan Reddy has asked people to reflect upon the failure of the TRS in delivering on its electoral promises and the sorry state of affairs plaguing the Hyderabad city.

The Minister's day-long road show covering Jyothi Nagar, Anand Bagh, Safilguda, Neredmet and other divisions under the Malkajgiri and Jubilee Hills Assembly constituencies marked with public meetings, bike rallies and door-to-door campaigns in some colonies here on Tuesday.

The Secunderabad MP criticised that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had built his Pragati Bhavan in four months spending crores of rupees. But, he did not build double bedroom houses to the poor even after six years of his electoral promise.

And, asked the people to support the BJP candidates to end the rule of "Kalawakuntla and Owaisi families in Hyderabad."

BJP national leader P Muralidhar Rao lashed out at the TRS and stated that the BJP has been in power in Delhi, and several other States and civic bodies, but, there were no incidents of communal violence.

He said that BJP government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi was handling the issues effectively and efficiently to steer the country towards development taking all sections of people along. But, the MIM with its anti-national narrative has been spreading under the shadow of the TRS to other States like Maharashtra and Bihar.

BJP MP Dharmapuri Aravind reiterated the imminent win of BJP in the GHMC elections. He dared Minister KT Rama Rao to prove that any major product industry has invested in the State during the TRS regime.

He explained how lack of any attractive reliefs in the form of concessions offered by the State was preventing major industries to come forward to invest in the State. BJP MLC N Ramchander Rao also spoke.
