Cops rewarded for good performance
The Director General of Police (DGP) of Telangana State, M Mahender Reddy, on Tuesday rewarded police officers from Rachakonda and Cyberabad police commissionerates for their performance in 2019
Hyderabad: The Director General of Police (DGP) of Telangana State, M Mahender Reddy, on Tuesday rewarded police officers from Rachakonda and Cyberabad police commissionerates for their performance in 2019.
A total of 26 police officers from the Cyberabad police commissionerate received the rewards. Of the 26 officers, seven are from Kukatpally police station and two each from Talakondapally, Shabad, Shamirpet, Pet-Basheerabad, KPHB, and Rajendranagar. One officer each from Chandanagar, Miyapur, Gachibowli, Jeedimetla, Chevella, Kukatpally traffic, and Bachupally were also rewarded.
Similarly 19 police officers from Rachakonda police commissionerate received the rewards. The officers were from Manchal, LB Nagar, Meerpet, Keesara, Vanasthalipuram, Abdullapurmet, Balapur, Yacharam, Medipally, Uppal and Adibatla.
The rewards were decided according to key performance indicators (KPI) for every functional vertical which translates into better delivery of services to the public. The DGP asked all officers to strive to achieve the KPIs and ensure efficient public service delivery. Cash rewards were also handed over to the officers for their performance. The rewards were respectively handed over to the officers by the commissioners of their jurisdiction.
