Hyderabad: Sufi Ulema Council felicitated journalists for their services to the promotion of Urdu and highlighting the issues of concern to minorities. During a book launch programme 'Khair-u-Bashar' (Best of mankind) held at Urdu Hall in Himayathnagar, the journalists from both electronic and print media were felicitated.
'Khair-ul-Bashar' is written by Mohammed Khairuddin Sufi and it was released by TS Urdu Academy chairman Maulana Raheemuddin Ansari, Telangana State Urdu Academy former Director Prof SA Shukoor, Siasat Editor Zaheeruddin Ali Khan, Ambedkar Congress president Nawab Qazim Ali Khan and other dignitaries.
At the programme, Mohammed Basheeruddin (Munsif), Zabiullah (Siasat), Mohd Minhajuddin Khan (HMtv), Faheem Ansari (Siasat channel), Abdul Nayeem (Ind Today), Md Amjad (BBN news), Shaik Ahmed (Ruby channel), Shaik Shareef (TTV), Md Majid (4tv), Md Fayaz (Ruby), Noor-ul-Quadri (DT news), Senior Reporter, Sohail Qaudri and others for the raising minority issues.
