A two-day meeting will be held on the problems being faced by women in rural areas especially those who are working in the agricultural sector. The meeting will begin from March 6.

"Women play an important role in agriculture. They have a major hand at every stage from sowing to harvesting the crop. Now, the time has come to identify their issues and resolve them," said Aribandi Prasada Rao, vice-president of Telangana Rythu Sangham.

Experts from various fields in connection with the rural economy will address the two-day conference. Representatives of farmers' union and scientists will also participate in the conference.
