Hyderabad police Commissioner, Anjani Kumar instructs police department to stay alert in view of the Bharat Bandh and conducted a late-night teleconference with police officers. Post-meeting he gave responsibility to the officers of Jt. CP rank to ensure that they monitor the events in their respective zones from 9 AM.
Shikha Goel was told to monitor the situation in East Zone, Anil Kumar was given West Zone, Tarun Joshi will monitor the areas falling in Central Zone, Avinash Mohanty for North Zone, Murthy for South Zone and other officers from Panjagutta PS and Banjara Hills PS were given additional charges.
Moreover, the Commissioner noted that the circle Inspector of every area should personally take charge of their areas to avoid any untoward incidents and every single incident should be reported to the DCP of the zone who in turn will alert the Commissioner.
