All get into offensive mode, ask BJP to stop mudslinging

Hyderabad: Finally, the Telangana ministers jumped into action to protect Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao from the tirade launched by the BJP leaders in the State as the ministers Eatala Rajender, Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Puvvada Ajay Kumar took a broadside at saffron party leaders on Sunday and warned the opposition leaders not cross the limits.

The TRS leaders have been facing criticism from their own cadre that they were not taking into consideration the attacks and aggressive onslaught by the BJP leaders against the party chief and also on the government.

The party activists were surprised with the party leaders maintaining silence on the BJP even after the opposition party was targeting the chief minister. They wanted the party leaders to counter those allegations. A few days ago, government whip B Suman had called upon the party activists to counter the BJP leaders.

The leaders on Sunday targeted the BJP leaders at different programmes. Health Minister Eatala Rajender on Sunday criticised the BJP leaders for repeatedly charging false allegations on the TRS government.

Along with Ministers, T Srinivas Yadav, Gangula Kamalakar, and Sabitha Indra Reddy, MPs Keshava Rao, Prakash, Ranjith Reddy, and others, he participated in the foundation-laying ceremony for construction of Mudiraj Bhavan at Kokapet in the city. Eatala said that the BJP leaders only indulge in talking.

"The BJP always uses the weaker sections only as vote banks and never cares for their upliftment. "There are 240 residential schools in Telangana... Are there any residential schools in any of the BJP ruled states?" asked Rajender.

Srinivas Yadav praised that the Chief Minister offers all help to the poor communities. He told the BJP leaders that mudslinging would be of no use. Giving costly land in Kokapet area to Mudirajs is for helping the poor and self-respect.

Kamalakar congratulated the Mudiraj community for the new Bhavan.

It will offer the support to the community people come from districts, he said. Sabitha Indra Reddy said that the KCR government is for helping the poor communities through such facilities. The government is known for welfare of the poor, she added.

Dayakar Rao alleged that the BJP never fulfils the promises made during the elections. He said that while the BJP was yet to fulfil its pre-poll promises, the TRS has been implementing the promises not mentioned in the manifesto. "What has happened to black money? Where are the Rs 15 lakh in bank accounts? Where is the flood relief to the state? They indulge in social media gimmicks, do not fall in their trap," said Rao. The BJP leaders should stop the cheap politics otherwise people would teach them a lesson, he warned.

Puvvada Ajay said that the BJP leaders come as tourists during the elections. He said that people of Khammam would not listen to the Saffron party leaders lies. He said the party workers will not keep quiet if the BJP leaders continue to talk irresponsibly. The BJP leader is indulging in mud slinging. I am not ready to wait until 2023 and face action. Now itself Sanjay should take action if he can," the minister said.
