KTR seeks funds from centre for development works in GHMC

The minister wrote a letter to Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh Puri and Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman to allocate funds for the comprehensive sewerage master plan for Hyderabad in the union budget 2021.
He also requested to release funds for the Telangana government's Metro Neo project in Warangal. The minister also asked to support the development works taken up by the municipal department such as solid waste, human waste treatment plants, bio-mining and construction of underground drainage.
Rama Rao also asked the centre to approve various schemes proposed by the state government and also allocated 20 per cent of the funds in the Union budget.
