Light to moderate rains forecast from today

Medak: The Southwest Monsoon continued to be normal over Telangana during the last 24 hours ending at 8.30 am on Sunday. Rain occurred at a few places in Medak, Medchal-Malkajgiri and Siddipet districts, the Met department bulletin said.

The chief amounts of rainfall (in cm) were: Chegunta (Medak district), Medchal (Medchal-Malkajgiri), Doultabad (Siddipet), Dindigul (M. Malkajgiri) 2 each, Tekmal, Narsapur, Kowdipalle (all in Medak), Kondapak (Siddipet) 1 cm each. According to the forecast, light to moderate rain or thunder showers are very likely to occur at a few places across the State from July 15 to 18. No large change during the period July 19-21 is the weather outlook.
