Locals see red over unlifted garbage

Nacharam: Residents of P&T Colony Nacharam are having a tough time battling the garbage apathy by GHMC. The garbage is been piling up past one month, locals allege no GHMC worker came to clean it up even after intimating several times.

A local resident sharing his agony said, "No one from the GHMC came to clean the pile since a month when asked the reason they say they don't have enough vans to pick up garbage. The garbage is shedding foul smell and has become a breeding ground for rodents and stray dogs which are causing a lot of nuisance. We request the GHMC to address our problem and resolve it. Or else we colony members will have to take up this task in our hands."
