Patancheru: Local MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy on Monday handed over Rs.50,000 as financial assistance to the 14-member State team participating in the physically challenged wheelchair championship beginning on June 22 in Mohali (Punjab).
He also gave Rs.1.5 lakh for meeting the flight charges of two team members along with former MLA K Satyanarayana.
