The Bhanur police took up an investigation following information provided by the villagers of Nandigama in Patancheru mandal that some unidentified persons of the village had taken up witchcraft in a local rose garden along with its owner on Sunday.

Patancheru: The Bhanur police took up an investigation following information provided by the villagers of Nandigama in Patancheru mandal that some unidentified persons of the village had taken up witchcraft in a local rose garden along with its owner on Sunday. Sub-Inspector Venkat Reddy, along with staff reached the spot and launched an inquiry.

The police action comes in the wake of villagers informing them that they had seen at around 11 am two persons moving suspiciously near the garden. When questioned, the duo reportedly stated that they were collecting flowers for taking up witchcraft. After they left, the villagers identified the material required for 'Rudra pooja,' Pula Raju told The Hans India.
