Musheerabad: A 'Praja Ballot' programme was conducted by MLC Narsa Reddy for the last three days to elicit public opinion on RTC strike. Two options were given in the ballot: whether they support merging of TSRTC with government or privatization of TSRTC.

Speaking to media, Narsa Reddy said that the programme would be conducted for next two days and final result would be released to media on Thursday. The results of the public opinion would be shared with the state government, he said.

MLC Narsa Reddy criticized the state government for not initiating measures to resolve the RTC strike even after 39 days. The prolonged arguments in state High Court have also worsened the situation, he said. In this context, an attempt has been made to get public opinion on the strike. He said that 'Praja Ballot' has been receiving tremendous response from people, especially youth, he said.
