Railway felicitates premium customers
The South Central Railway (SCR) held a meeting with its customers here at Railway Nilayam and felicitated its premium customers who helped SCR to set a new record in goods transport in this year.
Secunderabad: The South Central Railway (SCR) held a meeting with its customers here at Railway Nilayam and felicitated its premium customers who helped SCR to set a new record in goods transport in this year.
Speaking on the occasion, SCR General Manager Gajanan Malya congratulated the employees on the zone setting a new record in goods transport this financial year.
While Indian Railways transported 122 million tonnes this financial year, SCR alone contributed 50 million tonnes, which is a new record, Malya said. On this occasion, Gajanan Malya, Transco CMD D Prabhakar Rao and AP Genco chairman Ajay Jain felicitated the premium customers who helped SCR create a new record. Among those felicitated include heads of Krishnapatnam and Kakinada ports and 30 cement companies.
