Residents develop own sewage outlet
The residents of Tirumala Enclave, Macha Bolarum, have been grappling with a lot of issues but foremost on their list has been the sewage problem. “Fed up with lodging complaints to GHMC, residents themselves repaired the sewage outlet by pooling up Rs 24,000.

Even the internal roads over here are in pathetic condition. Also, our colony does not have any park and many times we requested the authorities concerned to develop a park, as there is a small open plot that belongs GHMC," said V Satyanarayana, General Secretary of Tirumala Enclave.
Dumping of garbage on road and sewage overflow are among other main concerns. Due to these, residents have been facing hardships for the past three years. They allege that GHMC officials and local corporator E R Jitender Nath are ignoring their colony issues.
Speaking to The Hans India, Raj Shekar Reddy, the president of Tirumala Enclave, said, "Several apartments and individual houses have come up recently. Due to damage to the sewage pipeline, water is overflowing onto road and is also getting mixed with the drinking water. During monsoon, the condition is worse and due to this, the complete lane is covered with layers of sandy subsoil."
"The GHMC workers do not clean the trash daily. As a result, mosquito menace is rampant here. Whenever we complain to the GHMC officials about this issue, they give us false hopes that they will solve the issue but till today no action is taken," deplored Uday Reddy, a resident of Tirumala Enclave.
