RTC crossroads: Drivers and conductors, who worked on temporary basis during the recent RTC employees strike, staged protest in front of Bus Bhavan here on Sunday seeking permanent employment in RTC. They submitted a memorandum in this regard to RTC officials.

The drivers and conductors said they worked on temporary basis, hoping to become permanent employees. Some of them even left their existing jobs to work for RTC, they said. Recalling Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao's promise of taking them back in RTC or any other government organisation, they hoped that the CM fulfils his promise in this regard.

They demanded that the State government help them get employment as most of them were jobless. Temporary workers MA Kaisar, B Annapurna, V Raju, Anil Kumar, Sandeep, Abdul Khader, Naresh Goud and others participated in the protest.
