The need for a degree college has become urgent and elusive, as only one junior college is available in the constituency. With no such institution in the seven wards, thousands of students are forced to travel to far off places to study degree courses. Many have to be content with the junior college in Bolaram. There is a need for another junior college in other wards.

Some elected members had tried for starting a junior college in Bowenpally on top of a government school building. But it could not materialize and is still pending because of inadequate place.

He would now represent to Education Minister Sabita Indra Reddy, while explaining the hardships faced by the students.
