Students take out rally over rape incident

Kukatpally: Students of St Joseph School here conducted a rally on Friday from BJP office to Ambedkar Y junction protesting on the rape done on 9-month-old girl. Speaking on the occasion, Akula Satish said, "This grave incident has created a situation wherein parents are scared to give birth to a girl child.

This made the entire society feel ashamed of itself." He further added, "The criminal should be hanged in such a manner that everyone would not dare think of even attempting rape."

There were two rapes in Ramanthpur and Jagthgirigutta, where a 9-years girl was raped in in the former place and a 60-year-old man attempted rape on a girl in the other. The protesters demanded stringent punishment for the guilty.
