Summer kits provided to traffic personnel
The City Traffic Police on Wednesday organized ‘Summer Kit Distribution’ to traffic personnel at Traffic Complex, Nampally.
Nampally: The City Traffic Police on Wednesday organized 'Summer Kit Distribution' to traffic personnel at Traffic Complex, Nampally. Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar, started distributing the kits, each of which contains water bottle, butter milk packet, collar light, goggles, nose mask, reflective jacket and Glucon-D packet and so on.
The kits will be distributed to all the 2,400 traffic police personnel. Speaking on the occasion, Anjani Kumar named traffic cops as 'Brand Ambassadors of Hyderabad City Police' as they work throughout the year on the road in all climatic conditions helping 86 lakh population.
The CP praised Hyderabad Traffic Police services viz., better traffic management, traffic regulation, checks on rash and negligent driving and drunken driving, which resulted in reduction of crime and accidents.
Addl CP (Traffic) Anil Kumar explained the services provided to traffic personnel. LS Chowhan, DCP (Traffic-I), K Babu Rao, DCP (Traffic-II), A Bhaskar, Addl DCP (Traffic-I), P Karunakar, Addl. DCP (Traffic-II), ACPs, Inspectors, Sub-Inspectors, and others were present. (NSS)
