Youth asked to follow path of Gandhi, Bhave
The chairman of Gandhi Global Family and Gandhi Gyan Prathishtan for Telugu and AP States, Dr Gunna Rajender Reddy, called upon the youth to follow the principles and values advocated by Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba Bhave.
Basheerbagh: The chairman of Gandhi Global Family and Gandhi Gyan Prathishtan for Telugu and AP States, Dr Gunna Rajender Reddy, called upon the youth to follow the principles and values advocated by Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba Bhave. He was speaking at a programme held commemorating the birth anniversary of Vinoba Bhave here on Thursday. As part of the programme, Rajender Reddy garlanded the portrait of Vinoba Bhave and paid rich tributes.
Speaking on the occasion, Rajender advised youth to follow the principles of non-violence, peace and righteous living, as propagated by Mahatma Gandhi and Vinoba Bhave. He urged people to strive for preservation of environment and protect cows.
Later, Dr Rajender, along with Sant Hemu Bhai, recipient of International Vinoba Bhave Award, former chairman of AP legislative council A Chakrapani and others, launched the book "The Ideal of Reality" written by noted academician Dr SD Subba Reddy. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Subba Reddy said that Gandhi's life itself would provide valuable lessons and urged people to ready biography of Mahatma Gandhi.
Among those who participated in the programme include noted environmentalist Professor K Purushotham Reddy, Dr Prakasham, chief advisor of Gandhi Global Family MV Gona Reddy, Babaji, Inter education JAC chairman Dr P Madhusudan Reddy, secretary of Gandhi Global Family Professor Subramanyam, Yanala Prabhakar Reddy, Talakola Purshotham Reddy, Giridhar Goud, Srikanth, Upender, Linga Reddy, Ganesh Reddy, Kanaka Durga, Mallikarjun and others.
