Tirupati: Dharuri Phanith of Tirupati secured first rank in AP by scoring 99.85 percentile in the CAT results released on Saturday. A student of Kautilya Career Launcher (CL) in Tirupati he has been doing final year BTech at SV University Engineering College here.
His father D Chandraiah Naidu is a farmer while mother Shobha Rani is a home maker in Gangapur village of Kalakada mandal.
Phanith wants to do MBA at IIM Ahmedabad or Bengaluru and Kolkata. He also secured the state first rank in ICET held byAP government. Director of Kautilya CL N Sridhar said that it was the sixth time that CL-Tirupati students secured APs first rank in the last six years which has been offering coaching here since 2012.
