He said that the new buses will have advanced features and the passengers will feel comfortable and have a pleasant journey.

Vijayawada: The Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (APSRTC) Executive Director (Engineering) A Ramakrishna said that four Vennela AC Sleeper buses would be launched from next week. He said that the new buses will have advanced features and the passengers will feel comfortable and have a pleasant journey.

Speaking to The Hans India, he said that out of the four new Vennela sleeper services which will be launched next week, two services would travel between Visakhapatnam and Hyderabad and the other two services will be between Vijayawada and Bangalore. The capacity of each bus is 30 passengers (30 berths) and the driver seat is designed in numeric model which can be adjusted as per the convenience of the driver. The estimated cost of each bus is Rs 45 lakh.

He said the new AC Sleeper buses are equipped with front and rear air suspension which would make the travel a pleasure. The enhanced features of the new buses are the increased length of the berth to 1800 mm, 600 mm width with 75 mm thickness and individual reading lamps with back pad to each berth. He said that USB ports are provided for mobile charging along with LED display boards.
