TRS leaders hit back at BJP for 'lousy' comments
BJP is taking recourse to communal politics, and it’s high time that the people have to hit back the saffron party’s guiles, Chief Whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar said.
Hanamkonda: BJP is taking recourse to communal politics, and it's high time that the people have to hit back the saffron party's guiles, Chief Whip Dasyam Vinay Bhaskar said. Speaking at the Praja Sankshema Pragathi Yatra, aimed at sensitising people about the welfare and development programmes taken by the TRS Government, he told the cadres to hit back at the BJP leaders for instigating people on communal lines. He called upon cadres to gear up for the ensuing elections to the Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation (GWMC). MLC Kadiyam Srihari and former MP Azmeera Seetharam also participated in the yatra.
Later speaking to the media, Kadiyam Srihari said that BJP, which has nothing to claim, is trying to cover it up with spreading misinformation about the TRS government. He found fault with the BJP leaders for making lousy comments on TRS leaders.
"If it banks on communal politics, the BJP will never succeed in Telangana. Instead of banking on such immoral practices to gain political mileage, the BJP should seek votes on plank of development," he said. The BJP should speak about what it has done so far and what it will do in the future to benefit the people, he added.
Forefront on development and welfare programmes, Telangana stood like a beacon for the other States in the country. Telangana got its due recognition getting appreciation from Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other prominent leaders. Despite this, the BJP leaders were resorting to selective nit-picking on the governance in the State, he pointed out.
The BJP-led Central government failed to implement the assurances - Bayyaram Steel Plant, Tribal University etc – given in the AP Reorganisation Act-2014. The Centre also failed to provide monetary support to the ongoing irrigation projects in the State, he said. The BJPP's politics revolve around deities and temples, he criticised.
