Without going down the route of pomp-and-show, chief secretary TM Vijay Bhaskar has decided to keep it simple with his daughter's wedding
The senior officer has taken only a day's leave for his daughter's wedding, which happened on Friday. He even opted to conduct the ceremony at a regular kalyana mantapa in Vyalikaval instead of a posh star hotel in the city.
Bhaskar's elder daughter Vishruti, an advocate, is getting married to Gautam Kumar Raja a a start-up entrepreneur from Jayanagar.
The invitation requests the guests to avoid bouquets and gifts. "I'm a simple person and even my family members, including my daughter, wanted to have a simple marriage ceremony, My wife Rukmini is taking care of everything.
