Chennai: Union Minister of State for Home Affairs, G Kishan Reddy praised the valour, determination and the selfless services of the CISF personnel to the nation.

Addressing the passing out parade of Assistant Sub-Inspectors of the CISF at the CISF, Regional Training Centre, Arakkonam here on Saturday, he recalled the great responsibilities entrusted to them.

Kishan Reddy said that the CISF has diversified its role over the years and successfully met new challenges displaying high professional competence, discipline and highly skilled work culture and exemplary devotion to duty.

He reminded them that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government at the Centre has adopted a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of violence.

Kishan Reddy congratulated the personnel, who have successfully passed out after training and their families on the occasion and celebrated the auspicious Maha Shivaratri with them all.

Later, he performed a groundbreaking ceremony and laid the foundation stone for the construction of a swimming pool at the training centre.
