Delhi Police set up two layers of barricade to ensure that only essential service workers or suppliers were permitted into the national capital. Others were asked to take a U-turn and get back.

On the Delhi Ghaziabad border of Uttar Pradesh, Delhi Police set up a check-post similar to the one at to ascertain the authenticity of travellers coming in to the national capital.
