Ganesh claimed he was also attacked and sustained injuries, he did not file any complaint and was not available for investigation for one month from the date of the incident.

In a bail petition filed by Kampli Congress MLA JN Ganesh in the resort scuffle case, the high court ordered notice to Bidadi police. For further consideration, Justice BA Patil adjourned the hearing to April 8.

On the grave charges of trying to murder party colleague and Hospet MLA Anand Singh on the night of January 20 when they were in a resort on the city's outskirts, Ganesh sought bail in the criminal case filed against him. His bail plea was rejected by a special court for people's representatives, on March 25.

Anand Singh exercises authority and has 14 criminal cases against him, Ganesh appealed in his petition. Moreover, he has been in custody for more than a month as the investigations of the case is almost complete. His bail plea noted that the case on the hand has been blown out of proportion as Anand Singh's injuries were minor in nature.

Moreover, though Ganesh claimed he was also attacked and sustained injuries, he did not file any complaint and was not available for investigation for one month from the date of the incident. Nevertheless, discarding Ganesh's bail plea, the special court said the prosecution had prima facie established at this stage that the accused was involved in offences against Anand Singh, last week.
