While the entire scientist fraternity is burning the midnight oil to find a possible vaccine or medicine to cure the deadly coronavirus that has brought the entire world to a standstill, there have been claims of a few medical experts and clinical research specialists who say that shots are in trial stage.

There are some 100 potential vaccines being developed by scientists across the globe which are in various stages of development.

Now, as we wait to know about the same, here comes another claim from back home in India. The company is none other than Patanjali.

The CEO and co-founder of Patanjali has claimed that the company has found an Ayurvedic cure for COVID-19. According to Acharya Balkrishna, the recovery happens within five to 15 days once this medicine is administered.

Balkrishna says that clinical trials of the Ayurvedic cure were conducted on 100 sample group and the results were positive.

Speaking to a news agency, Patanjali CEO said: "We appointed a team of scientists after the Covid-19 outbreak. First, the simulation was done and compounds were identified which can fight the virus and stop its spread in the body.

Then, we conducted a clinical case study on hundreds of positive patients and we have got 100 per cent favourable results."

While this brings hope to the large number of people who have been infected with COVID19, the ICMR is yet to green signal this claim.

The company is expected to further conduct controlled clinical trials, results of which will be out soon.
