New Delhi : Senior Congress leader and former Finance Minister P Chidambaram's sentence has been delivered by the Supreme Court today regarding his plea. It was rejected. The leader challenged the Delhi High Court's decision to deny him anticipatory bail.
After the high court denied any protection to P Chidambaram, the CBI arrested him amid-night drama on August 21. Since then, the senior Congress leader has been under CBI custody.
The Supreme Court has passed an order to reject the leader's plea for bail. The ED is now free to arrest the politico.
