In the video, one can see that the badger and a coyote running together under a busy California highway. This video is winning hearts of social media netizens on the Internet.

The video clip is about 12 seconds and it is shared by Peninsula Open Space Trust (POST).

In the video, it seems that the coyote wagging its tail, waiting for the badger and soon jumps when it approaches closer.

Then coyote hops into the tunnel and turns back to see if the badger is coming. In the video, one can see that the badger is following coyote in a relaxed way. Even badger has lifted its tail to match its pace with coyote.

The video of coyote and badger friendship went viral just after sharing as it has been viewed more than 16 lakh times.

It is also known that both coyote and badger are known to hunt cooperatively. Even their interactions have always been thought to be "purely transactional".

In the San Francisco Bay Area, the video for the first time shows for coyote-badger cooperation report said. It is possibly the first showing the two species sharing a culvert—a tunnel that lets water to flow under a road and wildlife to bypass highways.

However, when a video of their friendship went viral, netizens started praising their friendship and thronged to the comment's section.
