Speaking after the inauguration, Sub-Collector S Nagalakshmi lauded the efforts of students in showcasing their creativity in different art forms at the expo. “The conduct of this kind of exhibitions will help unearth the hidden talent of students. It will also enable students to develop scientific and rational outlook by thinking differently,” she said.

School principal S Chandrasekharan said students should be encouraged to take part in extracurricular activities for developing concentration and better understanding, which are essential for their academic growth. Students used ordinary things like matchsticks, pebbles, dry leaves, twigs and charcoal for their artistic creations, which included embossing, nib-painting, glass painting, painting on aluminum foil, thread work, drawings and paintings on Swachh Bharat and anti-terrorism, which were commended by the visitors. Siddhartha Academy president N Venkateswarlu, school vice-principal Y Chakradhar Rao and others were present.
