The 17th Kargil Vijay Diwas was celebrated at Sri Durga Malleswara Siddhartha Mahila Kalasala in the city on Tuesday. Glowing tributes were paid to the Kargil war heroes who sacrificed their lives for the sake of our motherland. College principal T Vijayalakshmi presided.

Naib Subedar Garimella Siva Nageswara Rao of the Artillery Division of Indian Army was felicitated on the occasion. College NCC officer Lt PV Durgavathi, NSS officers T Nagarani and K Sarala and faculty members were present. NCC cadets and NSS volunteers participated in the programme.
