Zumba dance contest marks Friendship Day

Friendship Day was celebrated with gaiety at Gem’s Femme World at Gurunanak Nagar in the city on Sunday. Speaking on the occasion, Dr K Sridevi, managing director of Gem’s Femme World, highlighted the significance of Friendship Day.

She described gymnasia as modern day hubs of friendship, which is an important aspect in everyone’s life. A Zumba dance competition was organised as part of the celebrations. College girls participated in the dance contest with enthusiasm. Later, prizes worth Rs 10,000 were distributed to the top three winners.
