A 5-day technical training on Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) for BTech students began at Potti Sriramulu Chalavadi Mallikarjuna Rao College of Engineering and Technology (PSCMRCET) in One Town on Monday.

Speaking after inaugurating the training programme being organised by the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, in association with the IEI student chapter, PSCMRCET secretary S Radhakrishna Murthy said it was aimed at making students industry ready by providing them practical exposure.
Irshad Ali and Manvender Singh, engineers of Automation and Control Systems of Pune, will conduct the training programme, which concludes on September 23. PSCMRCET principal K Nageswara Rao, EEE HoD Y Rajendra Babu, programme coordinator B Madhu Kiran and others spoke.
