Convention on ‘Internet of Things’ from Monday
The Institution of Engineers (India), Andhra Pradesh State Center (IEI/APSC), will organise its 32nd National Convention on Internet of Things (IoT) at Fortune Murali Park in the city on October 24 and 25.
The Institution of Engineers (India), Andhra Pradesh State Center (IEI/APSC), will organise its 32nd National Convention on Internet of Things (IoT) at Fortune Murali Park in the city on October 24 and 25. M Kama Raju, Chairman of IEI/APSC, released the brochure of the convention at a press conference here on Friday.
He said the IEI/APSC along with Efftronics Systems Pvt Ltd, has conceptualised and designed the two-day event to promote awareness about latest technological disruptions especially the IoT among students, teaching community and industry. It aims to help academics, government and industry by providing a roadmap to develop IoT capabilities among engineers and come up with smart solutions for future.
The programme agenda includes Prof SK Mithra Memorial Lecture by Ganesh Ramamoorthy, Research Vice-President of Gartner, followed by a series of technical sessions and panel discussions by academicians and technologists with rich industrial experience. The topics to be covered at the convention include `How IoT is going to impact the society in terms of socioeconomic aspects?’, `What are various technological trends?’, `Why and how disruptions are happening?’, `Architecture of IoT’, `Opportunities and Challenges of IoT’ and `What should be our preparedness?’.
Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao will participate in the inaugural programme as a chief guest. Ramachandra N Galla, Chairman of Amara Raja Group of Companies, Avinash Chander, eminent scientist and former chief of DRDO, and Ramesh Datla, Managing Director of Elico Limited, will be honoured with Eminent Engineer Awards at the convention.
