Friends Jaitra and Young Patriots enter quarter-finals
Friends Jaitra cricket club and Young Patriots teams won over opponent teams and reached the quarter-finals in Krishna District Cricket Association (KDCA) B Division League for Devineni Venkata Ramana and Praneetha Memorial Trophy.

These two team played knockout matches at Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) grounds in Mulapadu near Vijayawada on Tuesday.
In first match Can Nuzveedu team won the toss and elected bat first and scored 158 runs for loss of eight wickets in stipulated 25 overs. Team batsmaen Satyanarayana (28 runs), V Lakshmi Kanth (27 runs) and Satyajith (25) runs helped team big score. Friends Jaitra team bowler V Dinesh took three wickets by giving 19 runs.
Replying that Friends Jaitra cricket club reached its target 159 runs by loosing three wickets in 24.3 overs. Team batsmen K Arun Kumar made half-century (52 runs in 49 balls, 2 boundaries and 2 sixes) and V Dinesh exhibited his bating talent and scored 36 runs (not out) helped in team winning. With this winning Friends Jaitra cc qualified for quarter-final match.
In second match Young Patriots team won by 5 runs lead against Rajesh cc and qualified for quarter-finals. Young Patriots won the toss and choose bating first and scored 167 runs in 24.2 overs. Team player Suresh excelled in bating and scored 45 runs helped team score big.
Later, Rajesh cc all out for 162 runs in 24.5 overs. Team players Goinath (38 runs), Chaitanya (24 runs) tried best for team, but no use. Young Patriots bowlers Krishna and Suresh took two wickets each.
Bowler Appa Rao excelled in bowling and took seven wickets by giving only nine runs helped his team Aslam Elites entered the quarter-finals in KDCA B Division league cricket. Aslam Elite won the match by seven wickets against KCC team. KCC team bat first scored 72 runs. Aslam bowler collapsed KCC team by taking seven wickets and he played crucial role in team winning. Later, Aslam Elite reached its target 72 runs for loss of four wickets.
In another match Mega XI won by better run rate against RCB Bandar and qualifief for quarter-finals. RCB Bandar played first and scored 124 runs and Mega team bowler G Ashok made hatric and took four wickets by giving 18 runs. Replying that Mega team scored 111 runs for loss of five wickets in 12.3 overs and the match was stopped due to heavy rain. Then the organisers took run rate and announced that Mega team won the match and entered the quarter-finals.
