Celebrations at Eluru
The students and youth performed cultural activities at Subbammadevi Municipal High school in Eluru as part of Happy Sunday Programme. The City Mayor Sheikh Noorjahan started the programme by lighting the lamp and said that for the last five Sundays, the Happy Sunday programme has been successfully implemented in the City to ease the burdens of Employees, students and youth.

The City Mayor Sheikh Noorjahan started the programme by lighting the lamp and said that for the last five Sundays, the Happy Sunday programme has been successfully implemented in the City to ease the burdens of Employees, students and youth.
She said that the municipal corporation has taken up steps to develop the Janmabhoomi Park with Rs 50 lakhs and the another three parks in the city would also be developed at a cost of 71.30 lakhs by providing modern equipment for the amusement of the children.
She along with her husband and Cooption member SMR Pedababu, MLC Ramu Surya Rao, Corporators Gudavalli Vasu, Nayudu Pothuraju, Borouthu Balaji, Gavva Madhusudana Rao, Rayi Vimaladevi, Edpuganti Swarooparani, City Commissioner Yarra Saye Srikanth and others participated in the cultural activities. City Mayor danced with the children of the School.
The employees and youth played tug of war and Kabaddi along with the Mayor. The old students of Edara Subbammadevi High School donated Rs 20,000 to the School and handed over the cheque to the Headmistress K Madhavilatha through City Mayor Noorjahan. Eluru Corporation Electricity AE Saiprasad also participated in the programmes
