Guntur: Communist Party of India state assistant secretary Muppalla Nageswara Rao on Wednesday said that they would observe 30 hours Satyagraha deeksha to mount pressure on the government to do justice to the AgriGold depositors on December 18 and 19 in Vijayawada city.

Addressing the media here, Rao who is honorary president of AgriiGold Customers, Agents Welfare Association said that the government had released a GO to release Rs 5 crore to pay ex gratia to the kin of the deceased due to cheating of AgriGold company.

He criticised that so far exgratia was not paid to the kin of the deceased. He warned that if the government failed to pay ex gratia immediately, they would intensify their agitation. He urged the party activists and leaders to make 30-hour Satyagraham a grand success.
