Conservation of electricity stressed

Vijayawada: Potti Sriramulu Chalavadi Mallikarjuna Rao College of Engineering Technology organised several programmes to educate students on ‘Energy’ on National Energy Conservation Day on Thursday.
The college conducted essay-writing, poster presentation and slogan competitions for the students on conservation of electrical energy. The college principal, Dr K Nageswara Rao presented prizes and certificates to the winners in the various competitions.
The college students performed a flash-mob and explained the methods and the importance of conserving electrical energy. They distributed stickers and pamphlets to the students on saving power and explained how to keep a check on wastage of electrical energy.
